I have replaced the thermostat, and the fan motor, tired that, but still overheating, and now noticed the radiator cap is cool, no heat blowing, and am thinking now, that I need to replace the water pump. It seems that there is no flow through the system. Does this sound accurate, or could it be something other than the water pump? Help needed for a mom to get her daughter back on the road! Thanks!

With the engine running and warm, and with gloves on.

Pinch the upper radiator hose shut, then release it, you should feel pressure build and watter surge past your hand, if not the pupm is bad or the belt is loose.
