1998 Chevy Camaro Starting problem

I put the key in the ignition and try to start and get nothing, not even a click out of the starter. So I connected a remote switch directly to the starter and turned the ignition in the on position and it starts, but only runs for about 10 seconds and shuts down.I get all instruments and there are no codes on my scan tool. Please help.

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump if okay -clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens.
