Have you done anything to the TV cable or otherwise known as a detent cable? If this cable to the transmission is out of range it can make the truck do things that aren't normal. It may be that is locking the convertor there for it is as if you drop the clutch on a stick and dies. Is this what it acting like?

Well either that detent cable is not adjusted correctly or the TPS is causing the converter to lock up. What is the part number on the tps you installed? I would like to make sure it is correct.

Sorry forgot about that item you have replaced so many parts that I didn't think to test the IAC. Back to the TPS I would like you to check the reference wire with a digital multi meter. Back probe the Dk blue wire and turn key on engine off what is the voltage?
