So I changed the knock sensor in there even though my car was not giving me a check engine light and now she's giving me a check engine light and it's starting to stall out. And it jerks pretty good.

Hello,

So what was the symptom leads you to replace the knock sensor?

You said the engine light is on, do you know what the codes are?
If not get the vehicle scanned and retrieve the code(s). You can get it done at just about any of your local auto parts store. They will scan and give you the code.

Knowing the codes can help with the diagnostics. As this can be due to any number of sensors or internal engine issues.

Please let me know what you find.
Thank you.

It was bucking driving at city speeds and when you tried to get to freeway speeds. I had ask a couple different shops and they said to replace the knock sensor so I did. Now it's throwing the check engine light. And I would but I can't even drive it.

Depending on your location, but typically you can 'rent' those scanners from your local parts store. Be able to retrieve the code can surely help with figuring out what could be the issue. Have you tried to put the old sensor back in to see if it goes back to the way it was?

I forgot to reset the PCM after changing it. I did that and it went a way, but I shut it off and it came back.
