Was driving pulled into a parking lot car shut off. Cranked but would not start. Replaced chip key month prior because key was lost. After shutting off car cranked would not start. Replaced ignition coil, spark plugs, added more gas in case out. Car turns over cranks will not start. After turning key so many times it runs battery drained. Know it something simple. I am a woman fixing my self. Do not have money to pay someone to come out.

Good morning.

Do you know if it has spark?
Need to check for fuel as well.

Start by spraying some carburetor cleaner into the air filter and see if it starts and stall. If it starts, then we know it is a fuel delivery issue.

When cranking, does the tachometer move up on the gauge? It will not move a lot but see if it moves.

Bought starter fluid and sprayed in it. Just kept turning over. I can hear fuel pump kick on. Changed spark plugs. I need to charge the battery before I can do anything else. Will not have time today or tomorrow. Off Saturday and Sunday. Be back on here.

Okay.

Can you check the compression? If you do not have a tester, then you can rent one at a parts store.
