the engine usally starts right up, however lately
when I go to start the car up, nothing happens,
with the exception that the exterior lights come on, but the car will not crank. Sometimes I can get a jump and the engine will start and will run
perfect for a month and suddenly there is this same problem again. I have lights and not even
a sound from the starter to start the vechile.

At the underhood fuse panel, there is a set of wires that connect under a small red plastic cover. (this would be the jump start post) Make sure the nut is tight and the connection is not burnt.
