Hi
I have a 95 century that was sitting for 12 months. I drove the car home after I put some gas in an almost empty tank. Car rode fine the next day I started it up to go buy parts the car died at the corner, the fuel pump sounds like it is pumping and the car wants to start but dosen't. Where do I start? Fuel filter first?

The fuel filter is good place to start. Considering the car sat for a year, there's a good chance that there could have been sediment in the tank. Plus when fuel gets old, a car won't run very well on it, if it runs at all. Check there first. Also, I would have the fuel pump pressure / volume checked while you're working on the fuel system. If it doesn't help, have the computer scanned for trouble codes.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
