98 Caravan 3.0 Speedometer

Got a weird problem. The temperature gauge and speedometer does not work. Fuel Gauge works fine, as does the cruise control. When a scanner is hooked up, it reads no response. Drives and shifts perfectly. Also the odometer does not count up while driving.
Figure its not the speed sensor cause the cruise works. Maybe cluster? Although fuel gauge works. Maybe pcm? Any ideas?

Well, have you checked all of the fuses. It looks like Fuse 2 10 amp in the Juntion box ties into the systems you mentioned, but it also powers several of the instrument indication lights.
Worth a try. The next common thread is the Body Control Module. I believe the dealer can test this module, but not sure there is much you can do other than check fuses.

ya all those fuses are fine, i even went as far as to take out the whole box an check all wires an connections. Some corrosion there as was every box i seen in the wreckers.
