does anyone know how to change the cabin air filter on a 04 odyssey? i have already tried by removing the glove box, but part of the dash is blocking the filter from coming out. i even tried to take the dash off, but to hard, it looks like the whole dash is one piece , and i cannot see taking entire dash off. i would really appreciate the help , if anyone knows how to do this. happy new year to all board members , and thank you in advance!

Suggested Repair

Cut out the dash bar that blocks the cabin air filter so the filter can be removed and replaced. A general cabin-filter replacement guide was also linked.

Conversation Summary

The owner of a 2004 Odyssey could not remove the cabin air filter after taking out the glove box because part of the dash blocked it, and the dash appeared to be one piece. One reply linked a general cabin-filter article, and another said the blocking bar has to be cut out.
