1994 Acura Legend Front Wheel Drive 200000 miles
After driving about 15 minutes, the temperature gauge went to Hot. I took it in thinking it was the radiator (which was replaced in 2003) - though there was no smoke coming from the car. It wasn't - they couldn't find anything wrong with it. It happened again, I took it in again and they still couldn't find anything wrong with it, but they replaced the temperature gauge, thinking that might be the problem. It happened again and they still couldn't find anything wrong with it. I reluctantly took it to the Acura dealer who said it need a new headgasket for $2300 - does this sound right? And does the price sound appropriate?
