The check engine light is on with the code for secondary air injection pump failure. I've located the pump which is not running during cold engine start up. It is not filled with water and no lines are broken, I would like to check the relay/fuse but cannot find any info as to where they are located. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Fred

Hello

Here is a guide to help you check the #5 fuse when you find it in the diagrams below

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Here are the many fuse box and identification (below) I would save this page for future reference.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks Thomas, I found the relay and fuse panel, you have to remove a very large cowl cover and the washer fluid reservoir filler neck to get at it. There are 3 relays and no identification diagram so I'm not sure which one it is and have never tested a relay before. Any idea where to find.A fuse box diagram for the Q5? Thanks again.

It looks like the secondary air injection sensor is under the hood, you must first remove the engine cover here are diagrams below to show you where it is. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
