audi a4 fuel pump

i have already disconnected all of the wires and have tried pulling on it but the fuel pump still wont come out. is it stuck or am i doing something wrong or do i need some sort of special tool

filler hose is still hooked up.. open gas door and there should be screws there.. give me a shout if thats what it was
