Changing the compressor, if you find that you need it, is a specialized trade for a reason. Working with refrigerants can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing and there is specialized equipment that is needed to restore the system to operating conditions. If it is needed, find a A/C mechanic.
The compressor and the blower are not related electically in the manner that you suggest. It looks like you have 2 problems. Is the blower making any unusual noises?
