2006 Volkswagen TDI Starting problem

2 months ago my car began with a starting problem. This occur every time, anytime!!
Battery has been checked and is OK is there any thing I can look for?
It takes about 4-6 seconds before engine starts.

If it has a delayed start, I would recommend that you start by checking fuel pump pressure. If it is weak, it can cause this type of problem. Also, when was the last tune up done on the vehicle?
