I got the multimeter from my buddy but he didn't give that thorough instructions on how to use it. Where do I check in the headlight? And it has a manual knob on the multimeter? Where do I set it at for testing?

I posted how to use a multi meter you need to unplug the headlight assembly and measure the resistance from one end of the headlight harness to where the bulb plugs in.You can match up the colors of the wires. You should see two ohms or less on each of the two wires.

Thanks dude! I didn't even need to use the multimeter. A wired wasn't connecting to The clip in the middle so I spliced it to the the connecting wire and capped it. Works like it never had a problem. Now once I order the wipers and install them I'll have a driveable car

I have checked all the fuses. Checked all the bulbs and relays. It doesn’t show on the inside of the fuse box a fuse for blinkers. I have checked to see if there is power going into the multi-function switch. And 3 of the leads have power. But there is no blinking or noise. My fan for heat/ac didn’t have power either. Not does my trunk button. Not sure what else doesn’t work. I was told the cooling fan doesn’t want to work sometimes. Someone suggested the BCM is bad. I don’t want to waste money if it’s something else. I just don’t know what to do can anyone help?

Hi,

Based on your description, it does sound as though the body control module is the cause. If you look at pic 1, I highlighted output for the blinkers. What I suggest is to simply check if there is power out from the BCM. Also, check to make sure the ground (pic 2) is in good condition and not damaged or corroded.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
