Yah, I think they did finally decide to fuse the harness just as a backup measure? Cause they sure didn't cure the problem well.

I was replacing a seal on the bottom of the gearbox, but inorder to actually get the seal replaced I had to completely remove the ger box. After we installed the gearbox the horn doesnt work, the airbag light is on and the cruise control doesnt work. I cant figure it out.

When you removed the gear box, what did you do with the steering shaft? To me it sounds like the clock spring is bad as far as the horn and the airbag light. Have you checked fuses?

Hey guys my cruse control is not working what can I do to fix the problem myself. Could it be fuse? Or something else that I could check to see Im not very skilled in auto repair but Im willing to try anything without having to take it to a dealer thanks

The most common fix and the first thing to check is the brake pressure switch on the master cylinder, unplug it and look for fluid in the connector. If it's wet replace it with the new updated switch if the recall has not been done yet, also check the speed control servo connector for brake fluid.

HI, just some info I read in a forum by chance did you change the third brake light? Apparently the filaments in the original bulbs have something to do with the cruise control system, just a matter of thought, hope you find a fix. Blackbeauty.
