Ok so my dad and grandpa were going to charge the ac, and they were using a jumper wire and it was hooked up to the positive terminal on the battery and somehow the wire fell and landed on there jack and got red hot. Now van won't start? Could it have blown a fusible link between computer? Had a buddy who is a dodge mechanic look at it and he said the computer is ok, he hooked up his computer to it and thinks it may of blown fusible link, where should I start looking to find link?

This is pretty unlikely to damage a computer. First measure for 12 volts where the smaller battery positive wire bolts to the under-hood fuse box, then measure for 12 volts on the large output stud on the alternator. If you find 0 volts at the alternator, there likely is a blown very large fuse in the fuse box. There might be a fuse link wire too. I'm not sure which they used.
