I have a 1999 honda accord. I beleive when I bought it it had a blown head gasket. It was blowing white smoke and would heat. I put sealant in the radiator and it did fine for a while. Then the speed odimetor started to jump and the tack. It got hot and the cat was stopped up so I fixed that. Now the speed odimetor and tack are still jumping and the car is running so rough you cant even drive it. When it fist started it would clear up sometime and would run fine. Today it want even stay running and it back fires alot. If you get it to crank it will not go bc of the missing. I took it to someone and they put it on the machine and it said misfire on all 6 cylinders so I change the spark plugs wires and cap. I am scared to put a motor in it if it could be something with the computer. Please help
and the car smells like gas when it does run.

Have the various cylinder compression checked. It would indicates the condition of the various cylinders and tell you if the engine is really bad.
Speedometer and tachometer jumping indicates a possible fault with wiring circuits. Check the grounding circuits at the intake manifold.
