1999 Honda Accord Head gasket blown?

We got a coolant change done in December 2007. Shortly thereafter the car overheated, due to them not sealing the cap tightly. Now a mechanic has informed me that my head gasket has blown. Is this possible? Please explain.

Aluminum engines and the heads on them warp very easily when overheated, I would try to hold the repair shop responsible if I were you...very good chance it happened...

Did they do both head gaskets? (6 cyl) If not then it is really their bad and they need to make it good
