Car running sounded like belt coming a part or fan loose, something spinning. Shut car off and they were good. Now the car wont start

If there is nothing obvious under the bonnet like a damaged drive belt best to get it to a mechanic for them to inspect, it does sound like a belt problem but if you are unsure get a professional to inspect it first hand.
