I have a 98 V6 automatic camaro never had any problem with it until one day im driving down the road the car starts making this grinding sound so I pull over it dies. The car would start right up no problem however I could go very far it would start grinding and die out again it would do this every quarter mile or so. I get it home pop the hood no coolant so I filled it back up never ran the car and checked the coolant a couple days later its empty again. I left the car sitting a couple months and unhooked the battery. I hook the battery back up one day and there is this ticking sound coming from under the glove compartment like from a relay and the car wont start when I would put the key in and turn it forward the ticking would stop but the car wouldnt start. Any idea what these two probs are the car hasnt ran in almost a year and only has 100k on it.

You may have locked the engine. Take a breaker bar and see if you can turn the engine (with the key off) with a socket to see if it will turn.
