I have a 1997 Chev Monte Carlo and the tail lights work but the brake lights do not work when the brake pedal is applied, with the exception of the light that is located at the bottom of the back window. All b ulbs have been replaced and the brake pedal switch and they still do not work. What would be any other options that would cause this problem?

A BAD TURNSIGNAL SWITCH WILL DO THAT . MAKE SHORE THE HAZARD SWITCH IS NOT STICKING. THEN CHECK VOLTAGE ON THE WHITE WIRE GOING IN TO THE TURNSIGNAL SWITCH WHEN STEPING ON THE BRAKES AND SEE IF YOU HAVE VOLTAGE OUT ON THE DARK GREEN WIRE. IF YOU HAVE IT GOING IN AND NOT OUT THE TURNSIGNAL SWITCH IS BAD
