Hello
can I substitute automatic transmission gasket with liquid gasket. The gasket is expensive and I can get it only from dealership. If yes what brand of liquid gasket can I use

So you tool the transmission apart and want to use silicone instead of the two gaskets? If you do it could leak and that's a lot of work to take the transmission back out. Why don't you order the gaskets online?Which engine do you have?

Your best bet is just getting the factory gaskets I haven't found anything in aftermarket gaskets for that car. As far as using silcone instead of gaskets its not designed for no gaskets. When they use sealer insteadof gaskets tthat do a nice matched finish on the two surfaces so they don't leak.

If I told you a 1994 and 1995 transmission fit then those are the other year transmissions that fit besides the 1996. Those are the only years that fit that car no you don't have to change the computer or upgrade it.A 1997 one is different some how not sure what's different but doesn't list that year as working for your car.

The engine of my 96 Honda accord is a F22B2 4 cylinders 2.2 liters. If I take a transmission from 94 or 95 Honda accord do they need to have the same engine than my car (F22B2)
