Start simple. Make sure all the connections to the ECM are tight and making contact. Also, make sure all main fuses under the hood are good. Finally, it may be a good idea to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine when this happens. I am curious as to which is missing.
One other thing I would like you to try. Under the hood is a relay box. You will find a relay called the EEC (electronic engine control). When the vehicle doesn't start, remove that relay and switch it with a different relay from the box that has the same part number and see if it will run.
