My car died while I was stopped at a red light then sarted smoking then after a few minutes I was able to start it again but then it made one loud pop noise then started smoking even worse. I pulled over and the car kept smoking and smells like it overheated.

Have you checked for broken or disconnect hoses?

I took it to a mechanic and he said it was a hose to the radiator but now the dashboard only works when the headlights are off but only a third of it works when headlights are off but none of the lights work when headlights are on.
