On a rainy day my windshield wiper fuse went out, I turned off my truck to replace fuse, when I went to start it nothing happened. Got power, just nothing happens when ignition is in 5 (start) position. I had a broken clamp on the transmission control tube on the gear shift that I then replaced, thinking it wasn't getting into park. Didn't fix problem. I've changed the ignition, the pcm relay, the starter relay, I've taken the cables off the battery for 10min to reset computer, and nothing still. It does have the Securilock passive anti-theft system. Any help?

Try starting the truck in other gears to check that you actually have the trans cable in the right position. Did you make sure the trans was in the "park" position when installing the cable? When you press the brake to shift gears, do you hear the click to allow the shift lever to move? When you press the brake. Does it allow you to shift gears, or will it let you without pressing brake?

It will shift gears when I press the brake and yes it clicks when shifting and it doesn't click when not pushing brake.
I never took the cable off I just replaced a clamp that holds transmission control tube. I did take the two bolts off the bracket in back of tube that had the cable attached to it. When putting tube back in place, everything lined up exactly the same though.

Do you have a spare key you can use? Have access to a scan tool?
