Engine ran well, parked truck, got back in truck, wont start, lights work, radio works, battery good, all dash lights remain on without key in ignition, sometimes prior before current problem truck would not turn off with headlights burning, turn off headlights would turn off truck. Tried stsarting truck by crossing screwdriver across solenoid posts, spins starter and engine but still wont crank, turning ignition will not give any response

It sounds like an ignition switch problem. When you turn the key, do the dash lights come on now? Does everything other than the no start seem normal?

Yes, everthing seems normal, except the no start. But I have already replaced the ignition switch under the dash. Thanks for the reply.
