My car stalled but didn’t lose power. The key fob works everything electrical works but won’t try to start. It shows a key lock light so idk if it’s not registering the key to start but it does act like it sees the key because it powers up just doesn’t try to start.

Hi,

Is this a push-button start? Also, when you place the vehicle in park, does the indicator indicate it is in the correct position? Will it start if you place it in neutral? Are you placing the intelligent key in a location where it will be recognized? Have you checked the battery in the key, or have you tried a different key?

I attached the wiring schematic of how it works. If the key signal isn't recognized as having an accurate ID code, the car will not start. Also, if the battery is weak or dead, it can cause this.

If you look at the remaining pics, they provide things to check.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
