I locked my keys in the car yesterday so I decided to get a new battery for the remote that came with it that didnt work well if ever. Still didnt work. I got the car unlocked with a coathanger. I researched the internet which suggested to reprogram the remote ( I took it that way). Today I locked the keys in the car again so as I was unlocking it with the coat hanger, a neighbor, seeing that the passenger side was unlocked, opened the door and the security alarm went off. Usually I just put in my key but it had the key in it. So I tried to reprogram the remote. Get in the car and lock the doors. Then put the key in the ignition and take it out and repeat for a total of 6 times in 10 sec. The hazard lights should flash if I did it right but they didnt flash. Then turn the key to acc and within 5 seconds, push any button on the remote. Again the lights should flash. Finally, unlock and lock the doors again. The alarm would finally go off but as soon as I locked the doors from the drivers side panel, the alarm would go off again. My car will not start. A dashboard full of lights but it will not start. How can I start my car?

I'm giving you the programming procedure so you can make sure you have the right one.

If it won't program, the issue may not be the transmitter at all and something is the rest of the circuit.
