Hi,
If the belt was squealing, chances are the alternator wasn't charging correctly. When you try starting it now, does the starter engage and turn the engine or not? If it doesn't, perform a simple load test on the battery.

Next, confirm the alternator belt is tight and still connected. I attached a pic below and highlighted the alternator belt and a red arrow pointing at the alternator. Pull on the belt to make sure it is tight and make sure it isn't damaged.
Let me know what you find. I suspect we have a loose alternator belt or a failing alternator.
Also, if the starter is functional but the engine won't start, record it cranking and upload it for me to hear.
