Hi,

I attached three pics below. The last pic I numbered. Number two, I believe, is where we are looking on your part.

Also, it appears a bolt broke. In your second picture, which is a welded nut to the part and you can still see the threads from the original bolt still there.

Let me know if this helps. Looking at the manual and then your pics, the orientation is different, so I had to spin the laptop in circles a few times to make sense of it. LOL

Take care,

Joe

Hi Ann, are the cable retainers holding the cables properly, not allowing them to move? Also, could you take a couple of pics of what you have and upload them for me to see?

Let me know what is happening at this point.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi,

Sorry to hear you've been sick.

Everything looks good in the pics. When you try shifting, can you see movement in the cables at the transmission?

Yes, they seem to work correctly now. Not sure if I told you when I push the car in gear it no longer rolls. That was the linkage issue that was fixed.

Are you able to shift it in and out of gears when the clutch is depressed and the engine running?

Let me know.

Hi,

If it feels normal when you shift and the engine is off, then it must be related to the clutch. With the engine off, place it in gear and depress the clutch pedal. Can you then move the vehicle? In other words, did the clutch disengage the engine and transmission?

Hi,

I went back and watched the slave cylinder operate. It appears to work correctly. Even if the transmission was internally locked, when you press the clutch, it should disengage and allow you to shift.

Take a look at the two pics below. When the clutch was replaced, did you inspect the clutch release fork? Is it reaching the release bearing to disengage the clutch? Something in there isn't doing what it is designed to do.

Let me know.

Joe
