Upon start up the car releases a large amount of white smoke from exhaust and as I drive the smoke continues to come out until the engine is heated up. Once heated up there is no white smoke and normal exhaust. Also my collateral resivor was very veey low the other day. Yes I know white smoke is normal but this is not normal.

Could possibly be a head gasket issue. If you know for sure that it is not just the steam from the cold and hot exhaust.

I know for sure it is not steam and the weather is cold, but the smoke only happens when engine is cold. There is no loss of power either and no knocks or odd noises. I drive the car to work and it will sit around eight hours and when I start it up there is no smoke. Only when I start it in the morning. Thanks by the way!

Hi, did you refill the coolant reservoir? Is it low again?
