2005 Jeep Liberty White Smoke Coming From Engine

2005 Jeep Liberty, 80K miles. While Air conditioning was running idle, white smoke started coming from the area where the radiar water is added. I checked and the radiator was was low. Added water and the problem seem to be resolved. Air conditioner is not blowing cold and I don't want to use the air conditioner again until I have the problem checked out. What could be the problem and approx what should it cost?

Hi sounds like 2 probs one the a/c needs charges and leaks repaired this could be minor or depending where it is leaking a few hundred dollars.

The white smoke was most likely the radiator leaking this would be the 4-5 hundred range
