The weather has become cold and every time I turn the heater on, I can smells coolant from the engine inside the car, but this is only when I turn on the heater. Also, I noticed today for the first time that there is white smoke coming from my exhaust pipe when I press on the gas from a stop and when the car starts. Will I need major work done on my engine?

Hi there,

Get the cooling system pressure tested to check for a leaking heater core, also have a head check done to test for exhaust gasses in the cooling system, do you have to add coolant and is it over heating or have a miss fire or rung rough at idle?
