Hi

We have just replaced the engine on my corsa and it won't start. It turns over but thats about it. We have checked fuel/battery/electrics etc and now are convinced that it could well be the coil ignition pack as there is no spark to it or the crank sensor. Any advice before I go off and buy one of these as the engine cost me £400 I am not in favour of spending anymore unecessarily. I don't think the car has an immobilser, the master key has a locking fob and the spare doesn't. We have tried both keys. No ECU lights coming on either. It's got to be something simlple. Please help!

Your car definately has an immoboliser. Is there a red/orange light flashing on the dashboard? . Try locking and unlocking the doors with the master keyfob remote before trying to start the vehicle !
