Vansudden stop pulling on hiway. Now won't Move.

Won't move. Alternator not charging engine ovrrheated. Transmission will not engage go in park no problem just revs and no go.

Hi,

You indicated an overheating issue, charging issue, and transmission issue. Have you confirmed the battery is fully charged? These vehicles rely on specific power voltages to function properly. A very weak battery can cause all kinds of issues.

Also, have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? If not, I would start with that. Here is a quick video showing how it's done:

I realize not everyone owns a scanner, but often times a parts store will lend one to you. Let me know if you have already had this done and if codes were retrieved.

I'll put battery charge on start it up. Leaving charger on should operate electric systems. Then I put in gear and see what happens. I will let you know. Thanks.
