The issue/result.

I did end up taking the computer out and sending it in to get checked. It tested out fine and nothing wrong so the computer testing company (based out of FL) sent it back. When I put it back in everything was good for a few days and then the same issue happen again.
After a lot of headaches I figured out that the issue was indeed the computer. I ordered a completely new one and the one sent me was bad (after more headaches). Sent it back and got a new one and everything works great. I also replaced the MAF after already replacing before. There were other frustrations while looking for the problem.

If I learned anything from this its just because a part you get is new doesn't mean its good.

Very true. I have seen many new parts that were as useful as the box they came in! Drives you up the wall to install a new part and still have the same problem.

Service engine soon light is on: Are the codes for this engine the same as for a 1991 Corolla with 4AFE engine?

When I do the paperclip test: I get code 25

Anyone know what this means?

When my check engine light comes on on my 93 Toyota pick up four-wheel-drive 22r it runs like crap sometimes or loses half of its power. I've had every diagnostic test done to it and it reads no code stored to computer. When the light comes on and stays on it lose half of his power when it blinks it jerks real hard.

A blinking check engine light usually indicates a misfire. Yes that would cause a power loss. Have you checked the condition of the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor?

Okay, there is a misfire, but what is causing it. Have you checked the condition of the plug wires? Is there anything arcing related to the ignition system? Is the coil wire okay? Injectors? Catalytic converter?

I have a 93 toyota pickup 4wd with v6 engine with manual tran. Last year I had work done on the trans. When I got it back the first time I drove it the check engine light came on. The second time I drove it, it stalled and I had to have it towed. They found wiring for oxygen sensor shorted out. Also found EFI Relay broken and R&I relay fuse. They did a Computer Diagnostics: Coce 21=Oxygen sensor signal. They repaired the wires and truck runs. I replaced the oxygen sensor, but the check engine light is still on. I had it checked and there doesn't seem to be power coming from the computer. Is it possible that the wires shorting out (they got burned from the exhaust pipe) could cause the EFI relay and R&I relay fuse to blow. Could it also damage the computer?

EFI fuse is it blowing?

The heated oxygen sensor gets it power from the EFI fuse and thru EFI relay.

What sensor are we talking about?

If the engine was serviced on a regular basis, that isn't high miles for it. However, if it wasn't, there could be excessive wear inside. Check to make sure the catalytic converter is not plugging first. If it is good, may need to check injectors and engine timing and compression.
