Lock troubles

Hi my drivers side lock works but my passenger side doesn't, you can put the key in and turn it but it does unlock or lock anything? Any ideas? Something disconnected? It's never worked since I got the car used! Thanks

Open the door and listen very carefully as you turn the key. If you hear a slight "tink" Take off the door panel and re-attach the locking rod. It has a plastic clip on the end that sometimes loosens or breaks. Good Luck
