Hi guys, hope you can help me. My Landcruiser 2h diesel performs well until you turn a tight left at speed and a few moments up the road the engine momentarily cuts out and then refires and runs as normal with black smoke out the tail pipe for a moment. My hunch tells me that it is something to do with the deisel level changing somewhere by centrifugal force and possibly a water in diesel issue. Injectors are fine as performance is great other than left handers. Same effect with full or empty tank over many different tanks from different gas stations. I have already changed the fuel filter and with no joy. I would really appreciate a hand guys. Thanking you in advance. Jason.

G'day Guys. The problem was simple in hindsight. The engine was low on oil and when the car went around a corner the oil pump would suck air dropping the oil pressure. This in turn tripped the low oil pressure cutout switch and stopped the engine until pressure was regained then the engine refired. I hope this info helps someone else. See ya.
