Does Fix a Flat Ruin a tire so that it can never be repaired again by an auto shop?

It coats the inside of the tire with a sticky rubber coating, I wouldn't say it ruins the tire, but most shops will not work on them, or prefer not to.

Some shops will tell you the tire is ruined to sell you a new one.
