My daughter has a toyota and when she drives ovev 50 miles an hour it makes a low humming sound, I'm not sure if it is the tires or the brakes, just wanted to know if I should have the brakes checked or would it be the tires? Not sure which route to take.

Hi there,

If it is tyres it should make a different sound when driving on different surfaces, asphalt or concrete, try that, and if the noise is constant i would be checking for a faulty wheel bearing.
