How to remove power steering belt?

Great news.

Make sure to inspect pulleys and clean with brake clean. Brake clean dissolves grease, grime, coolant and leaves no residue.

How do you replace the Power Steering Belt on a 1994 Toyota Corolla? I see one bolt that holds the power steering pump to a bracket and I loosened it but the pump didnt move. HELP.

The bolt allows the pump to pivot, but you must loosen the base bolt ( the bolt that holds the pump at the bottom) to allow it to pivot, then replace belt, adjust tension, tighten pivot bolt, then base bolt.

Hi gulf81star,

The Auto tensioner has a 19 mm hex head which you can use to release the tension to remove the belt.
