Car will not start after purchasing new battery

What was the problem before you changed the battery? When you turn the key to acc does the radio turn on? If it does then I would have your starter relay looked at but if you simply hear sometime very faint clicking sound replace the starter. It wont have anything to do with your alternator because that is only used once the car is started. Good luck lemme know :)
