1999 Toyota Camry Check engine light on, engine misfires

Check engine light keeps coming and after it comes engine starts vibrating feels like misfires. If I remove battery connection check engine light goes off and engine runs smooth. After 60-70 miles check engine light comes again and same problem re-occur. Again if I remove battery again it runs perfect.I don't know what's the problem.I took it to repair shop and they are giving all possible causes and cost is high. If you can provide me the possible causes, I can refer to that and want them to check those.

Check engine light coming on

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
