I was checking my 1992 Camry because the Idle seemed to fluctuate every once in a wile and when it did it would seem like it was going to turn off.
I started to check the sensors and looked for vaccum leaks. Then I desided to check the spark plugs wile the engine was on I disconnected one of the wires and the car just shook and made a bubble bursting sound then shut off. Now it wont start!
Help Please!

Thank you very much for your promt response. You got it right on the nose, it's done.
I went and did what you said and sure enough it was the ignition coil.
$33.00 later, my car is back in bussines.
You were a great help!
Again thank you for all your support, great website for +-1/2 mechs like us.

Hi prietojl007,

Thank you for the donation.

You could have accelerated the demise of the ignition coil by pulling the plug wires out. Check for power supply to ignition coil with ignition on. If no, check for blown fuses.

Pull out plug wire, attach a spark plug and ground it to the engine and crank to check for sparks. If no sparks, test the ignition coil primary and secondary resistance. If out of spec, the coil is faulty.

With distributor cap removed, crank engine and rotor should turn, if no, the timing belt is faulty.
