Stalled while warming up then not restarting

One day about two weeks ago I was in my car warming it up. Before I could even put it in drive it shut off and would not restart.
I replaced the ignition coil ignition module and charged the battery because it ended up dying.
When I try to start it the choke light does not come on but just flickers with each rotation of the engine and I hear something under the dash clicking. I am hoping it is something easy, but I thank you in advance.

It sounds like the choke stove is shorting out. Remove the choke wire and see if the noise stops.
