Hello,

No. It sounds to me like you need to replace your water pump. There is a small hole on the bottom of your vehicle's water pump called the "weep hole". It is designed to allow coolant to leak before it gets to the bearings and causing the shaft to freeze up when the bearing fails causing a coolant leak. This is probably where your water pump is leaking, and if not it's a good idea to change it when you have it out, which is what you are going to have to do to replace the gasket anyway. In the diagrams down below I have included instructions on how to replace your vehicle's water pump. Please go through the guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

Never ever use stop leak in a cooling system unless you want to make life harder when it comes time to repair it.
