2002 Saturn L200

When you try to start the car all you here is the starter spinning. The battery is reading 12.8 volts on my meter. I was hoping you could help.

if ur starter is spining and the engine isnt turning over sounds like ur starter is bad does it do it all the time.if so u can take the starter out and have it tested sounds like the starter is spining but the gear isnt kicking out to engauge the engine.let me know what i find.
