Turn signals not working properly?

My right-side blinker is not working and the left side won't turn off it just keeps blinking.

Hi,

The SCCM (steering column control module) monitors the multifunction switch position. When the multifunction switch is in the left or right turn position, the SCCM sends a turn signal switch status message over the communication network to the BCM (body control module) indicating a request for the left or right turn signal. When the BCM receives a request for a turn signal, it supplies on/off voltage to the appropriate turn lamps.

If the right side does nothing and the left side won't turn off, it sounds like the switch has failed internally. You can confirm if the SCCM is faulty by scanning the can-bus system to see if there are codes stored indicating a failure in that module. If there are no codes, then the switch is my first suspect.

I attached the directions for replacing the signal/ multi-function switch below. This is one of the easier ones to replace.
