1993 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the car runs fine untell it gets to full operating temp. Then it dies. Will restart in nuteral or park but as soon as you put in any gear it dies. If you hold ecellerater about 3000 rpm and slam into gear it will go but it bucks

Sounds like two seperate problems. The engine dying when hot is most likely an ignition module, you can have it tested at most autoparts stores for free.

The second problem, sounds like the TCC (torque convertor clutch) is not disengaging.

Best to have trusted garage check ignition and TCC solenoid.
